Soulmate

They say that
when eyes meet eyes
love blooms

They say that
when two souls merge
the feeling is divine

But what when
one soul estranges
from the other?

Is there anything
that can heal the pain
of separation?

And after eons
when they meet
they gaze at each other

Transfixed, speechless
they are in rapture.
For life has re-blossomed.

A strange impatience within
to love and be loved
and remain united forever...

Ecstasy

I live the most
only those moments
where you are present

I hear the birds chirping,
I see the stars glittering,
and the moon shining.

Who says happiness
is elusive and ephemeral?
I say it manifests itself
into ecstasy...

Only when you are there
beside me and within me.

With You

Each day spent with you
Brings me closer to you.

The moments of togetherness
Add smiles to my face.

I’m blessed! I’m charmed!
My soul and senses are embalmed.

I have submitted myself completely
Into your, only your individuality.

Let me remain drowned
And bathe me in love incessantly.

I close my eyes in peace
Perceiving your touch for the eternity.

I Believe...

I believe,
the days I longed for
won’t make me restless anymore.
For the bird can now rest
peacefully in it’s nest.

I believe,
The wounds inside me
will heal very soon.
Like the cracks on the crust
mended by sudden rain burst.

I believe,
My hopes will take me
closest to you…
like the flowing river,
merging into ocean forever.

I believe,
happiness will build
a permanent place.
Like an overjoyed victor
after winning the race.

I believe,
My destination
is no more far,
for I am a traveler now
counting distance by the star.

Close to Nature

So grey the cloud
covered the vast sky
the nimbus ‘bout to shower
to earth it seemed so lower,

The buzzing of bees
the chirping of birds
dry the lakes ‘re once
dazzled today by chance

The peacocks are dancing
with pride and grace
the gale so violent
yet nature so benevolent

The trees so old ‘nd vast
drooping to cast their shadows
so cool are the boughs
that shelter sheep ‘nd cows

The newly wed bride
peeps from her palanquin
with shy on her face
uplifts her beaded lace

The rainbow so eternal
curves a shadow of serenity
spreading its bright hue
in colors of indigo ‘nd blue

The happy innocent urchins
larking in the mystic downpour
with a merry ‘nd buoyant soul
I revered God, His majestic role.
